Tips for a successful tolerance break

If you are about to embark on a journey to take a tolerance break, it will be useful to have some weapons in your arsenal to see your break through. Below we’ve provided a list in hopes that you can take these tips with you to meet your goal:

Keep your Weed, and Utensils Locked Away

One of the best ways to have a successful T-break is to remove all temptations to smoke. One way you could do this is by getting rid of all your weed, and utensils. However, if you want to continue smoking after your break that is definitely not ideal. A much better alternative to this is using a timed lockbox. You can store your weed related items into this box and set the box to be locked for the period of your tolerance break. This way even if you wanted to get to your weed, you would have to wait until the duration of your tolerance break. One such lockbox that many people like is called a kSafe. Exercise

a great routine to start while on a T-break is to exercise. Exercise obviously has many health benefits, including reducing stress which could be a potential trigger for breaking your tolerance break early. In addition to this it can be used to fill the void and reduce the urge to smoke once you are no longer smoking.

Drink Water

Water is a great way to flush things out of your system, and keep you hydrated and healthy. It will even lessen the need to take frequent tolerance breaks, so drink plenty of water!

Use Community to Stay Accountable

Taking a tolerance break can be hard, but you don’t have to go it alone. It’s very likely that if you’re taking a tolerance break, there are many other people who are also taking tolerance breaks. You could get your friends together and do a tolerance break at the same time. If your friends don’t want to take a tolerance break, you can go online to find a bunch of people who are also taking a break. Check out the communities section in Grounded to find such a community.

Get a Hobby

If you’ve been smoking for a while you may find that smoking weed is your main hobby. To keep you on track, find a new hobby or activity to keep you busy and fill the void. If you would like suggestions on something you can do, check out our article on “Activities to do Instead of Smoking”

Try CBD on your Break (Cannabinoid Cycling)

If you’re taking a tolerance break, it’s likely that you will end up replacing your smoking ritual with something else like drinking coffee, eating more, or even smoking cigarettes. The problem with this is that you’re replacing a much healthier habit with something that is more destructive. Instead of this, we suggest you try replacing THC with CBD. CBD is the perfect alternative because it provides many health benefits of weed, and it isn’t psychoactive, on top of this it normally contains very little to zero THC. If you want to learn more about CBD check out our article called “What is CBD?”.

CBD is a new market and unregulated so theres a lot of research to be done to find great brands. Do your due diligence to find the right brand for you. However, to make your search easier, we’ve done our research and suggest trying a Brand called “Joy Organics”.

Joy Organics is a Colorado-based family owned CBD company that was founded in 2018. We’ve tried other CBD brands and none so far have come close to the effectiveness of Joy Organics. Here are some reasons we like them:

  • Their product is highly effective and so far compared to other products we’ve used have been the most reliable when it comes to getting a calm and relaxed feeling.
  • They are a brand that actually cares about their products quality and consumers, and aren’t in the CBD industry just to make money.
  • Joy Organics has many CBD products so you can find the right product that fits your needs
  • Their hemp is organically and specifically grown for CBD. Their hemp strain has been refined over the last 7 years to be high in CBD and low in THC. Which they later filter so that their CBD contains zero THC.
  • They’re third-party tested on individual ingredients and the product as a whole so they adhere to the industry standard of CBD manufacturing.
  • Their product contains zero THC because of their purification process that removes THC as well as waxes and chlorophyll.
  • They’re available 7 days a week, and have amazing customer service. They also provide a 30 day money back guarantee if you’re not satisfied with their product.
