It’s the first thing you do as soon as you wake up

You’re using weed to avoid problems in your life

You’ve developed a high tolerance and need larger amounts to get high

You find that you can’t do anything and don’t find anything enjoyable unless you’re high

You tend to get high at inappropriate times

You find it nearly impossible to cut down or stop whenever you resolve that you will stop

You start to prioritize getting high over your personal responsibilities

You consistently spend more money than you have to get high

You’ve stopped doing hobbies, or activities you enjoy and smoke weed instead

You experience withdrawal symptoms if you don’t smoke weed for a period of time

You have strong and uncontrollable urges to smoke

  4. SkyWhat is said is pretty accurate. I myself am addicted to marijuana. I have learned to control the urges. I wouldn’t say I’m completely addicted but smoking is something that takes up about 80% of my thoughts in a single day. 80% of the time I’m always thinking about how I can get high next or who I can buy off of.
  5. Arnold L LawsonIt is so hard to realize and admit that I answered a very strong yes to each and every question in the article! I sure pray God helps me kick it and honestly answer no to each question in the future! Best of luck to everyone!
  6. Lexi HawleyOr if you have chs aka Cannabinoid hyperemesis sydrome
  7. Frederik BerntsenIf you got anxiety, you start to develop more fear to your surroundings, and by that you won’t get more social with friends, aswell as family

I have not vaped in 13 days. I was dealing with working alot, stress anxiety and was vaping every 10 min. The struggle is real my whole body hurts it aches, does anyone have aching body? My main reason for vaping is dealing with general anxiety. I had the vape with me at all times n if possible carry it in my hand. I hope and pray this urge passes 🙏

I am the same friend. 5 days with no THC and I can barely eat a thing without feeling nauseous, am constantly jittery, and get headaches frequently. I feel confident in making it this far though. Hang in there, it’ll get better for us. I know it.

How are you doing 2 months on? I had to go work abroad in June so didn’t have access to the plant for 25 days, it’s what I needed to force me to stop

I developed CHS from my chronic usage and now I can’t ever smoke again or I get like “go to the hospital” sick. It sucks but I’m feeling so much better in many ways. Really didn’t realize how dependent I was and how toxic it had become to my body.

I have been smoking everyday since I’ve been 16 . I’m 36 now . I’ve wasted so much time, money and opportunities doing something I thought was harmless. The problem is I feel like I’ve been stuck in the same position for the past 20 years. I love weed but I had to make a conscious decision to stop for my family and my future because a few minutes of being high is not worth the future . I’m just upset it took me this long . But I remember a quote that get a me through
“The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago , the second best time is today .”
For those of us that are struggling you are not alone and we will persevere 💯

I feel shame for how accurate this is. I appreciate that you all have gone through the same. I feel confident that I can tame this habit. Thank you all for your transparency.

Ive been trying to quit all year, knew i had some signs of addiction to weed but kept pushing it aside because “i could stop if i wanted to” but ive been trying actively to lose weight and the weed has NOT helped and its made me feel so trash the next day. Brain fog has been so bad after using so heavily… I am in day 1. I hope I last a long time.
